Experience the world of Bavarian brewing at Hofbräu München’s traditional brewery in Munich-Riem. This immersive guided tour lets you peek behind the scenes, following the journey from raw ingredients to the finished beer, all explained by expert brewmasters. Highlights include visiting the brewhouse, fermentation cellar, and bottling facilities, as well as sampling freshly tapped Hofbräu beer straight from the tank—a true taste of Munich’s brewing heritage.

Tours are available in German or English for groups of 10–30 people, with individual registrations possible (confirmed when a group of 10 is reached). After the tour, you can opt for a hearty Bavarian snack in the brewery’s beer lounge, choosing from classics like Weisswurst with pretzel, Leberkäse, or a vegetarian salad—all served with a 0.5l beer or non-alcoholic drink.

Tours run exclusively Monday to Thursday (not available Fridays, weekends, or holidays), and must be booked at least 14 days in advance. The brewery is located at Hofbräuallee 1, 81829 Munich-Riem, with parking available on site. Please note, the tour is not fully accessible, and brewing courses are not currently offered.
